Galveston, TX – Bike Safety Day

The event will provide exchange visitors with the opportunity to learn how to be safe in Galveston, meet with other participants, be entered into a raffle, and their bikes with everyone!

Two opportunities to check in provided – see below.

Time to check in:8:30AM & 10:30PM – We will have Refreshments, snacks, and a raffle for 2 helmets.
Location: 26th and Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX 77551 – There will be a tent set-up.
Transportation: biking, walking or taking the ttextexrolley ($1) : http://www.galvestontx.gov/816/Trolley-Information

Water & snacks will be provided and all attendee’s names will be put in a raffle to win a Bike Helmet!
Join us for a fun bike ride, Safety instructions and receive the required by law bike lights free!

Event schedule:
· 8:30AM – 1st Registration at the Pleasure Pier Parking Lot
· 9:00 AM – Distribution of bike lights and refreshments
· 9:30AM – Complete Bike route safely with everyone
· 10:00AM – Closing statements and raffle prize
· 10:30AM – 2nd Registration at the Pleasure Pier Parking Lot
· 11:00 AM – Complete Bike route safely with everyone
· 11:30AM – Distribution of bike lights and refreshments
· 12:00PM – Closing statements and raffle prize

Bike Route:
We will start on 25th street towards Broadway Street –> 19th street –>Seawall back to Pleasure Pier parking lot.
