Due to the success of the NYC Marathon volunteer opportunity, we’ll be offering additional marathon volunteer opportunities to J-1s in 2018, allowing them to experience first-hand the spirit of American volunteerism. These activities also strengthen exchange visitors’ ties with their adopted American communities and provides opportunities to make new friends and expand their networks.
