Through the Au Pair Program, exchange visitors and host families take part in a mutually rewarding, intercultural opportunity. Exchange visitors can continue their education while experiencing everyday life with an American family, and host families receive reliable and responsible childcare from individuals who become part of the family. The Office of Private Sector Exchange offers the information below to assist sponsors of the Au Pair Program and Au Pair exchange visitors.
Resources for Sponsors: The Office of Private Sector Exchange Administration monitors and enforces full compliance with Department regulations and policies with a focus on exchange visitors’ health, safety, and well-being; and responds to complaints and incidents.
